What does the data tell us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The total cash has stayed relatively\u00a0stable in the 25th percentile. It\u00a0dropped\u00a0from $326,250 in 2021 to $323,500 in 2022, and back up to $326,250 in 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>median has been steadily increasing from $430,000 to $448,000<\/strong>\u00a0during that same period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<strong>biggest increase in total cash is at\u00a0the 75th percentile.<\/strong>\u00a0It went\u00a0from $581,750 in 2021 to $616,813\u00a0in 2022, and all the way to $642,500 for 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/b4c52687-5dc2-532e-bbef-5de0f7d602b0.png\" alt=\"CVC Unit Leader Total Cash\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second graph shows the percentage change in CVC Unit Leader total cash between 2021 and 2023.\u00a0 <strong>The biggest increase can be seen at the 75th percentile.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/14965f45-3cf7-fe8e-31ca-5b53c76bc423.png\" alt=\"% Change in CVC Unit Leader Total Cash between 2021 and 2023\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Our Findings:\u00a0<\/strong>After analyzing the Thelander data, it&#8217;s clear that the most growth in compensation for CVC Unit Leaders was\u00a0at the higher end of the spectrum. The data shows that the\u00a0market is more competitive at the top for\u00a0<strong>both\u00a0<\/strong>the higher ranked job titles and the individuals in those roles who are top performers.\u00a0<strong>Jody Thelander, founder &amp; CEO, states that attracting and retaining the CVC Unit Leader can be competitive.
