Here we&nbsp;provide&nbsp;a compensation update on both median total cash (which includes base pay + bonus or just base pay, depending on the compensation structure) and median non-founder equity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bc9924fc-c7cc-216c-c84a-bd9be3bab865.png\" alt=\"Median Total Cash\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image img-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/4c37c5fc-76cb-8dd9-6e8b-0f602f18b2a1.png\" alt=\"Median Non-Founder Equity\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What does the data show us?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The median total cash and median non-founder equity for VP of Finance and Director of Finance positions have stayed constant with slight increases since 2018.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The median total cash and median non-founder equity\u00a0for Engineer &#8211; AI \/ ML and Software Engineer has decreased since 2018. The peak total cash was $162,500 in 2018 for an AI\/ML Engineer.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whereas, the median total cash cash\u00a0compensation for Engineer &#8211; Senior has stayed constant since 2018. The median total cash has ranged from $140,000 to $143,100.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The median total cash for Engineer has increased by $10,300 since 2018. The equity remains at 0.100% &#8211; the same as it was in 2018.
