As the total amount of financing increases from under $15 Million to $90 Million+, we see the 75%ile for total cash steadily increase from $296,250 to $449,166. We also see the non-founder equity decrease from 4.1875% to 1.8427%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Valuation<\/strong><br>The compensation trend is similar to the amount of financing &#8211; as valuation increases, the total cash increases and&nbsp;the non-founder equity decreases.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Revenue<\/strong><br>Revenue is trickier, since 65% of the private companies in our dataset&nbsp;have no revenue or under $5 million in revenue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Region<\/strong><br>You pay top dollar for top talent. There are multiple ways you can accommodate for a higher cost of living in addition to utilizing the region filter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Industry<\/strong><br>We have seen industry make less of a difference in compensation, since talent moves across tech and life sciences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you can see, there are many ways to look at data.
