This month, we’ll give you an exclusive look at\u00a0the bonus section, and\u00a0examine\u00a0how bonuses are measuring up for 2024. To review, a\u00a0cash bonus is the preferred mechanism for rewarding individual performance, and is meant to be a short-term\/annual incentive. With the current talent market being highly competitive for key skill sets and experience, bonuses can be a valuable financial tool. It\u2019s important to determine the right mix of base pay, bonus, and additional incentives (both short and long-term) using\u00a0Thelander real-time investment firm compensation data<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salary increase percentages are typically a percentage of the base pay for the role and individual. But, what about bonuses?<\/strong> We’ll dig into this in our data below! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What factors correspond with the bonus?<\/strong> For all positions, “merit or performance-based” or “participate in firm-wide bonus pool” were the top two choices.
