$999.9 million in total AUM, Managing General Partners saw the biggest increase in median total cash from $762,879 to $931,000 (2023 to 2025).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bullet-swirl.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bullet-swirl.png\" alt=\"bullet\" class=\"wp-image-279309\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managing Directors \/ Partners and Directors \/ Principals saw cash compensation decline below 2023 levels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full\"><a href=\"http:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bullet-swirl.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/jthelander.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/bullet-swirl.png\" alt=\"bullet\" class=\"wp-image-279309\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other investment professional positions saw an increase in medial total cash since 2023.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Bottom Line<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our analysis&nbsp;shows that median total cash compensation is on the rise for investment professionals at emerging firms. We&#8217;re seeing the most growth across the board for total cash compensation at firms with less than $250 million in AUM.
